Our Cover

Our model for this month's cover is a "real doll".......... beautifully attired in a gown of cockle shells, with mother-of-pearl front panel, and golden oyster trim. Her scallop shell and golden oyster hat complete the outfit. This exquisite example of shell work is just one of many such items made by a Gisborne enthusiast, Mrs M. Williams, who is the subject of a story on page 11.
