Picnic Races

A large crowd assembled at Puhatikotiko Station, Puha, recently to witness the Waikohul Picnic Racing Club's annual meeting.

A programme of nine events, held on a straight four-furlong course, provided the patrons with good racing in a casual country atmosphere.

Two equalisator doubles were run, one paying £35/10/-, and the other £17/10/-.
