All Black Married

Gisborne football enthusiasts are getting a feat of representative games just now, and "Photo News" camera is often on the sideline at the Oval. Recently, however, it covered a rather special match, not' at the Oval, but at Holy Trinity Church, when Keith Parker Bagley, son of Mr and Mrs R. Bagley, Mary Street, and. a member of the 1953 touring All Blacks, was married to Ann Isabel Hutchinson, daughter of Mr and Mrs F. Hutchinson, of Tuarua Station. The groom was given good support at the altar by two of his co-players of the All Black team who had played many times previously with him for the Gisborne High School and Poverty Bay teams, R. A. White and B. B. J. Fitz-patrick, and the "referee" was another ex-footballer, the Rev. J. G. B. Talbot. Pictures show the bride and groom (below) leaving the field, while at right are seen Mr White and Miss Diane Barron, preceded by the flower girl, Jane Porter. Below at right are Mr Fitzpatrick and Miss Patricia Topp.
