Motor-Cycle Sports

A motor-cycle is a useful apparatus for transporting its owner from place to place with speed and economy. It can also be used for fun and games. Recently a number of Gisborne motor-cyclists formed themselves into the Manx Motor-Cycle Group, and occasionally on a Sunday afternoon they gather at a place like Pouawa for a session of sport on wheels.

Manx Group members thoroughly enjoy these high jinks. Activities have blessing of Transport Department, which may feel that they provide riders with a controlled outlet for natural exuberance which might otherwise be expressed on highways.
