During the Christmas period, Santa Claus had a habit of turning up at parties by all manner of conveyances. Here he is pictured en route to the Ormond Motors party aboard a 1903 Oldsmobile, with the car's owner, Mr Wally Moore, at the wheel.

Mr Jack Dixon, 801 Childers Road, received a novel Christmas present from his former workmates at the Eastern Bottling Company. Mr Dixon, a retxred employee of the firm, made a request for old boxes for fire wood.....and this was the result.
