Popular Waikanae Beach

Waikanae Beach, less than half-a-mile from the centre of the city, is the most popular of the city's many beaches: Safe, calm, and well patrolled by the Waikanae Surf Lifesaving Club, it is pictured on a hot summer day crowded with sun worshippers. In the background is Kaiti Hill.
