Father Christmas In Town

In recent years. Father Christmas has had a habit of arriving in Gisborne by many varied and novel means, and this year was no exception.

Before a large crowd of children and parents, the kind old gentleman in red passed along Gladstone Road atop a large pea harvester, to arrive at Adair Bros Store.

Complete with bag full of toys, he made his way into the store escorted by a group of eager youngsters, and then proceeded to go about his prolonged task of taking them on his knee and listening to their requests.
