Television For The Coast

Members of the East Coast Televiewers' Society have been toiling mightily in recent weeks to instal their translator on Pungarehunui Point, 11 miles from Ruatoria.

The translator is now in working order, and will broadcast signals to viewers from Te Araroa to Tolaga Bay.

The pictures on this page were taken during two of the working bees by Tolaga Photographers and Don Turnbull.
