Junior Rep Rugby

The Poverty Bay junior representative rugby team continued its winning run with an impressive victory over Wairoa at Rugby Park last month.

Gaining plenty of ball, the local players proved too strong for their opponents, and scored six tries to give them a full-time total of 27 points to Wairoa's nil.

The game was a fast, entertaining one, with both teams taking advantage of the prevailing fine weather and firm ground.
