Daffodil Sunday

On Daffodil Sunday last month, many Gisborne residents visited the Botanical Gardens to admire the beautiful beds of yellow flowers, a blaze of colour in the bright sunshine.

Music was played throughout the afternoon by the Gisborne Civic Band.

Fieldair Limited's new D.C.3 aircraft which was flown from America recently, pictured undergoing a complete overhaul and conversion for top-dressing purposes in N.A.C's overhaul and maintenance hangar at Harewood Airport, Christchurch.
