Lionel Edward Brown, son of Mrs A. Brown, Makaraka, and the late Mr W. J. Brown, who has graduated B.A. from Victoria University, Wellington, in philosophy and pure mathematics. He is now studying for B.A. honours in philosophy before going to Knox Theological College.

Miss P. M. swarbrick, daughter of Mr and Mrs O. Swarbrick, 12 Queens Road, who has left Australia to go nursing in London. Nurse Swarbrick has served at Cook Hospital, Samoa, Perth, and Paramatta, Sydney. While at Perth, she was active in the famous "Flying Doctor" service.
