Anglican Church Changes

Twelve months have seen a large number of changes in the Anglician clergy in the Gisborne district.

The Rev. and Mrs J. G. B. Talbot, who left today for Rotorua. after nine, years at Waerenga-a-hika. Before coming to Waere-nga-a-hika, Mr Talbot was stationed at Wairoa.

Big move to South Africa is scheduled for the Rev. and Mrs E. A. Oulds at the end of this month. Mr Oulds has been in charge of the parish at Patutahi since coming from Hawkes Bay two or three years ago. With their family of four children, they sail from Auckland on June 30.

Snapped at the recent Holy Trinity annual ball are (left) the Rev. and Mrs C. B. Robinson and Archdeacon and Mrs A. R. H. Morris, of the Gisborne parish. Archdeacon Morris came here from Wairoa a little less than a year ago, and Mr Robinson transferred here from Hastings more recently.
