Successful Health Camp Appeal

An appeal by the Public Relations Office for clothing and toys for the Health Camp received spontaneous support from the public of Gisborne, and resulted in the camp's stock of these necessary items being increased considerably.

A van-load of assorted toys, ranging from rocking horses to rocket ships, along with bundles of clothing, was delivered to the camp. In addition, the sum of £13, received from donations, was presented to the matron, Miss A. Steneker.
