I.H.C. Holiday

Nine members of the Gisborne Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society recently spent an enjoyable weekend holiday at the Y.M.C.A. Camp Williams at Waipiro Bay.

During their stay, the children made full use of the camp's many recreational, facilities, both on land and water.

The camp, which was the first of its type in New Zealand, was considered such a success that others are to be held annually. Other centres are following Gisborne's lead and have similar camps planned for their I. H. children.
