Nurses' Graduation

Nine Cook Hospital nurses were presented with their registered Nurses' Medals at a graduation ceremony in the War Memorial Hall recently.

Among the graduates was Staff Nurse Margaret Grant, daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Grant, Sheehan Street, who represented the third generation of her family to become a registered nurse at the hospital.

The Hospital Board's highest award, a silver medal, was presented to Staff Nurse Joan Woosey.
