"Seaside Sweeties"

The Awapuni School was the scene of a rather unorthodox, but extremely funny, display of classroom conduct during an evening in December.

The occasion was a P.T.A. end-of-year social, at which the guests were treated to a floor show entitled "By the Seaside".

Climax of the performance was the winning of the "beauty contest" by a gorgeous bikiniclad creature named Miss Conception.....headteacher Mr Ian Johnstone in disguise.
