Kia Ora Tennis Club Reformed

The Kia Ora Tennis Club, which was formed in 1936, and commenced play at its new courts at Bushmere in 1938, has been reformed this season after a recession of nine years.

More than 60 players, young and old, turned out on a beautiful day last month for the club's opening games of the season.

Present at the opening ceremony was the original club's first chairman, Mr Chas Teitjen, who now holds office as Patron, and a foundation member, Mr Frank Henshaw.
