Aquarium Enthusiasts

An attractive backyard aquarium display, consisting of concrete ponds and aquariums decorated with figures of dwarfs, animals and mermaids, is the pride of two enthusiastic members of the Gisborne Aquarium Club, Mr and Mrs F. O'Connell of 473 Palmerston Road.

The various ponds, which were all constructed by Mr O'Connell, contain eight different species of fish and thousands of minute spawns.

The couple produce much of their own fish food, in the form of white worms and water fleas.
