The Tokomaru Bay Harbour Board's offices, which were purchased in 1927 from the N.Z. Shipping Company, for £13,000, have, along with the rest of the Port installations, been taken over by the Waiapu County Council.
The old Tokomaru Bay School, which has been purchased by the Boy Scout Association, being given a face lift by a working bee recently.
