Abstract Art Exhibition

An absorbing (if somewhat obtruse to the layman) exhibition of abstract art is at present creating much interest at the Gisborne Art Gallery.

The work of one man, Mr Graham Madge, a 32-year-oid schoolteacher at present employed at the Gisborne Boys' High School, the display also exhibits some of his conventional landscapes, water colour sketches, and wooden carved figures.

Mr Mudge was born and bred in Otago, and has made two sketching trips overseas, visiting England, Europe, India, and North and South America in hie travels.
