Spring Flower Show
The Poverty Bay Horticultural Society's annual Daffodil and Spring Show in the Army Hall last month was notable for the fine quality of the blooms entered.
A large crowd attended the show, which featured a large daffodil section and varying forms of spring floral arrangements and displays.
Mrs D. E. Chrisp's beautiful arrangement in pink and brown which won Mrs L. Eade's special prize for the best piece of work in the show.
