Scout Training Course

A Boy Scout patrol leaders' Sandford training course was recently conducted by Field Commissioner G. W. Graham, of Dominion Headquarters, Wellington, and Kaiti Sea Scout troop scoutmaster R. B. Williams, at the Gisborne Scout headquarters in Carnarvon Street.

The course was run over two days, during which the boys were instructed in a wide variety of scouting activities.

During Photo News' visit, a flagpole-raising contest was in progress, the poles being made of staves lashed together.
