Contest Winners

Miss Jenny Irvine has been in the news quite frequently lately. After winning an air trip for two to Australia, Jenny set her sights on wider horizons and is now knocking on Switzerland's doorstep. In the recent Philips Mr and Mies New Zealand contest, Jenny' s able and concise answering of varied questions placed her first among the girls of this district. The North Island finals take place in Wellington on August 30th when the best wishes of Poverty Bay will be with her.
