Rugby in the Mud

The G.M.C.- Marist senior Rugby fixture was a real mud-lark. After a week of heavy rain, parts of the Oval looked like a lake.

G.M.C. came out winners by 14 points to 6. The ball, apart from being extremely slippery owing to the mud, was also difficult to see because of the poor light. After a while it was even hard for the players to recognise each other!
