A Memory of Happy Days

"Tolly's" long association with Gisborne included many a happy day with his numerous friends. It seems not inappropriate to reproduce a picture of one of them (below), from the year 1927.

This is a picture taken on the "Annual Fishing Excursion" in 1927, when the T.S.S. "Pipi" was under the command of "Admiral Tolly". The announcement of the occasion is reproduced at far right.
