Gisborne's Operatic Star

Each time Miss Doreen Morrow returns to Gisborne for a holiday she is able to recount stories of further successes on the Australian stage.

Our picture shows Doreen as "Pitti Sing" while playing the principal mezzo role during the "Mikado" season at His Majesty's Theatre in Sydney.

While in Gisborne, she found time to give a recital, and also a radio talk on her theatre experiences.
