Christian Family Year
One of the Christian Family Year projects carried out by the Waiapu Archdeaconry Mothers' Union was a colouring-in competition for children from 7 to 12 years. There were 316 entries which were judged by Mr S. Bugden who also drew the original design.
Pictured above are the winners with their prizes. They are; from left, Peter Boshier, 3rd 11-12's; Dawn Wilson, 1st 7-8's; Sally Hamilton, 2nd 11-12's; Nora Nicholson, 1st 11-12's; Dorothy Louie, 1st 9-10's; Craig Tune, 2nd 7-8's; Jill Langford, 2nd 9-10's; Grant Vincent, 3rd 7-8's; and Marjorie Louie, 3rd 9-10's.
