Darts

Darts, in one form or another, has been played for many hundreds of years. It was not until 1937 however, that it became really popular. This was because King George VI of England was seen playing the game in a film of the Royal Family. Since then, many Darts Leagues and championships have sprung up all over England. It is only in recent years that it appears to have gained a hold in this country. Now the firm of W.D. & H.O. Wills has put up a prize of £600 for the Dominion's champion darts team. These pictures will help to substantiate the reason given by many men for being late for lunch on Saturdays!
