"Under the Influence"

When hypnotist Janus played at the Opera House for three nights last month, people were able to see the lighter side of a subject that, to many, is viewed apprehensively and even feared. Janus gave a demonstration that would have dispelled the fears of even the most sceptical person. He stressed that nobody could be hypnotised against his will nor made to do things normally alien to him.

Our camera highlights the effects of hypnotism when practised in the field of entertainment.

After submitting to hypnotism while still in their auditorium seats, these men were invited onto the stage. As soon as they appeared, Janus put them into a sound sleep.

There was quite a crowd on the stage who had submitted while in their auditorium seats. Anyone obviously under 16 was immediately awakened by Janus and returned to their places.
