Indoor Basketball

Indoor basketball fans saw the game at its best last month when a Melbourne Y.M.C.A. team defeated Gisborne by 81 points to 21. Gisborne's loss appeared to be mainly due to poor goal shooting. Nevertheless, this fast, strenuous sport is well worth seeing even in the junior grades and if more halls were made available for practice perhaps there would be more of it and a consequential higher standard of play.
