Winning Red Gross Team

Shown with Mrs M. Robinson, local president of the Red Cross Society, is the Gisborne team which won all three trophies at the recent Dominion competitions. The team was trained and led by Cadat Officer J. Horne. They are: Sgt. Major J. Barker, B. Baliantyne, Staff Sgt. J. Davis, Cadet Officer J. Horne, and seated, H. Taingahue, J. Kilpatrick and N. Chambers. In a welcoming speech, Mrs Robinson made an appeal for more instructors as there was a need for a girls' class.
