Euclid Comes To Town

Wet weather in the Wharerata hills prompted the contractors on the road construction to send one of their earth moving machines to town for a brake reline. The huge tyres on these machines cost around £2000 each, A Euclid TS 24 scoops and carries 35 yards of earth at a speed of about 30 mph. The one shown hers is driven by Kevin Phelps of Wainui Beach.
