Employees of Humphreys Furniture Warehouse attended a social function at Ulverstone to farewell two retiring members of the staff, both of whom have been with the firm since its foundation 43 years ago.
Founder of the firm, Mr H. D. Humphreys, receiving a presentation from head salesman Noel Jeffery, on behalf of the staff.
Mr Frank Jeune, who was the firm's first apprentice, and who has been foreman of the cabinet-making factory for many years, receives a token of thanks from Mr A. J. Humphreys, the managing director.
