Gisborne Playwright's Premiere

Philip Allingham's prize-winning one act play "Erosion" will have a six-day run in the Unity Theatre starting Monday, April 29th. "Erosion" won second prize in the 1962 New Zealand British Drama, League Competition judged in London. Rehearsals are almost complete and producer Denise Suttor is well satisfied with the able cast.

Playwright Philip Allingham has had a second success, having been notified that a three act play of his, "A Time For Rejoicing", entered in the British Drama League's and Thespian's Competition, has won first prize.
