Fashions in the Sun

A parade of autumn fashions was held at a garden party, organised by the Anglican Women's Association, at the homes of Mrs Roland Graham, Haronga Road, and Mrs John Hawksworth, Harris Street, on a sunny Saturday afternoon last month.

The grounds of the two homes, which are adjacent to each other on the bank of the Waimata River, were in splendid condition, and provided a very picturesque setting for the parade, organised by Adair Bros. Ltd.

Six mannequins, two of whom were from Auckland, modelled a variety of autumn fashions before the good crowd of women folk who attended the function.
