Art School

Thirty-five budding artists, eager to further their prowess with paint and paper, attended the Gisborne Art Society's annual art school, which was held over four consecutive Saturdays last month.

The first lesson was held at the Museum and Art Gallery in Kelvin Park, where demonstrations in water colour, oil, and pencil drawing were given, and at the following sessions the class went "on location" to various picturesque places around the district.
