Roving Camera

Another feather in their caps is that they are the first club in New Zealand to sport three ladies' roller hockey teams.

Members of the Gisborne Girls' roller hockey teams who took part in the annual Hastings Blossom Festival parade, were a big hit with the onlookers in their striking uniforms of red and white. A newspaper, reviewing the parade, reported them as "marching well, but looking a trifle embarrassed under the chorus of appreciative whistles which greeted them".
