The Gisborne Photo News

2

The Editors Corner

Our sincere apologies to all those who were once again unable to buy copies of "Photo News" last issue. Although we print more copies every month, they are usually gone by the time the next issue comes out. Last month they were gone in a few days. We cannot accurately estimate the demand, and can only suggest that readers should place a regular order with their newsagent.

We have now reached, well ahead of schedule, the circulation figures at which we consider "Photo News" can provide a worthy addition to the advertising facilities available in Gisborne and accordingly in this issue we invite advertisers to make use of our pages, in which goods and services can be illustrated freely almost without extra cost. We consider that advertising in "Photo News" will carry much greater impact because in the meantime it must be limited to a few pages per issue, because displays can be attractively illustrated, and because we know that "Photo News" reader coverage per copy, for all age groups, is unusually high.

Readers who may be alarmed lest we fill "Photo News" with advertisements can rest assured that it is our intention to maintain the present volume of news pictures.
