Billiards Champion

Clark McConachy, the world's champion professional billiards player, paid a visit to Gisborne recently, when he gave a demonstration at a local billiards saloon. This was watched with some awe by a large assembly of the billiards fraternity. McConachy demonstrated the very remarkable control of the game which he has developed, which makes a 400 break look like child's play. His machine-like precision seldom fails him, and no shot seems too difficult for him.
