Thrilling Soccer On Trafalgar Park

The touring R. N. Z. A. F. soccer side was rather fortunate to score a win over Nelson when the two teams met on Trafalgar Park. Nelson, showing control and enterprise led 2–1 at half–time, but two quick goals early in the second half gave Air Force a lead which it did not relinquish. Each side scored again to give the visitors a 4–3 win. But it was a game which Nelson deserved to draw – a thrilling game, full of movement.
