Saddles, Boots And Spurs
Spurs jangled, dust flew and cowboys bit the dust. All this amid the smell of sweaty horses and cattle. The scene? The Motueka Rodeo Club's annual event, part of the South Island circuit, at Marchwood Park. Spectators were treated to some rough'n'tumble tactics as competitors did their best to stay on bucking, stamping, rearing mounts. Some did, many didn't.
