Nalder--Wallace. At St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Beverley, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs G. A. Wallace, Atkinson Street, Gisborne, to John, only son of Mr and Mrs V. J. Nalder, 17 Clifford Street, Gisborne, The attendants from left were David Low (best man), Mrs Janet Dyer, sister of the groom (matron of honour), Shirley Nalder, sister of the groom, and Tony Wallace, brother of the bride. The future home of the young couple will be Gisborne.

Cook--Allen. At the Mission Hall, Gladstone Road, Ruth Lillian, daughter of Mr and Mrs G. Allen, 175 Fox Street, Gisborne, to Vernon Edward, son of Mr and Mrs E. Cook, Hexton. The attendants from left were Roland Foster, Betty Beale, Dannevirke, Ariel Allen, sister of the bride (chief maid), and Rodney Clague (best man), Joanne Morris was the flowergirl, and Graham Sides, cousin of the bride, was the page-boy. The future home of the couple will be Hexton.
