Wonderful Weather

Completely reversing the form shown by the weather man during the 1960-61 holidays, Gisborne's holiday climate this vacation was enough to send visitors into ecstasies of praise. Except for an occasional gust of wind, the weather throughout was perfect. Campers and beachcombers made the most of it.

In addition, the attractions for holiday-makers this year included a vastly-improved programme of entertainment, especially at the beach.
