EASTLANDSPORTS AWARDS

200 sports minded people attended the Eastland Sports Awards held at the YMCA. It was the "who's who" of sport in our area. Sporting bodies and Clubs submitted their nominations (all elite performers in their own field) to the judges and held their breath as to who would be considered the top achievers. N Z Representative Rower and ex local sportsman, Chris White, summed it up when he said "...go hard or go home..." and "... persue your sport with a passion."
