MVC AWARDS

Hikurangi Forest Farms are committed to increase the safety, quality and overall professionalism of its workforce as part of meeting the needs of their customers. Quality pruning, thinning and harvesting leads to higher quality logs, better milling options and happier customers. To this end H.F.F. presented Most Valuable Contractor Awards at a function held at the Cosmopolitan Club. The Performance Crew Shield was won by Peter Adlam's Crew who consistently maintained high standards of professionalism.

Originally Hikurangi Forest Farms was a joint venture with BP and the Fletcher Challenge Group. Presently Hikurangi Forest Farms, along with other Fletcher Forestry organisations, is becoming 100% Fletcher owned and will be known in future (1 st January 1996) as Fletcher Challenge Forest - Gisborne.
