GISBORNE DANCE COMPETITIONS

The Gisborne Dance Competitions, held in July, was organised by the Gisborne Ballet Group. It was a chance for all the local dancers to polish their performances prior to the 77th Festival to be held in late August. The judges had much to praise as each competitor was looking for the top placings. The standard of local dancers augers well for the future.
