Silver Secateurs

The inaugural grape vine pruning competition for individual and teams was developed to recognise the importance of pruning, cane selection, tying down and to recognise the skills of the people involved in the wine making industry. The event was held at Earnest Ford's vineyard Ormond. The top prize was a trip to the Silver Secateurs National Final to be held in Marlborough.
