Motu
CENTENNIAL
The Motu School & District Centennial was held at Easter Weekend 1995, incorporating Motu, Whakarau & Motuhora Schools. Around 400 past & present pupils, staff & committee members attended. A plaque was unveiled by Gisborne's Mayor John Clarke - Motu School 1895 -1995 - The Cenntenial concluded with a Church Service held at the Motu School officiated by Olwyn Fitzgerald.
