RUATORIA
HUNT

The Poverty Bay Hunt Club which held regular hunts at Ruatoria in the 1630's had a very successful 2 day event on the old Wickstead property now owned by Chris Brownlie and on Waimatatini Station on day 2. More than 50 riders took part on both days and enjoyed the return of the hunt to the Waiapu District for the first time since 1937.
