Gisborne Harriers
THOMAS CUP
The Thomas Shield has been contested for the past 31 years between The Gisborne Harriers Club and The Whakatane Harriers Club. This year Gisborne won after a great afternoon of competition on a testing course.

Phil Rowlands at the crest of "the hill" which was a real test of stamina & a great vantage point to watch the race. There was plenty of encouragement from the spectators as the competitors passed the test.
Ron Robertson sprinted home to win the Snr Men Event.
Brett Ryan a comfortable winner of the 4 lap Vetran Men Event.
